The anesthesia medication has been stopped and she is now starting to rouse a bit. The hope is that she can be taken off the ventilator this afternoon. However, her lungs are so full (this is expected) that she may need a bit more time on the vent as support. Her kidneys are consistently improving output but the numbers are expected to climb due to a number of factors. I spoke with the nephrologist this morning and he’s optimistic that longer term this shouldn’t be a problem.
It is highly unlikely that she will remember anything from today or tomorrow. That will be a very good thing since her big concern was the ventilator and all that it entails.
Thanks for all of your expressions of support.
Glad to hear you are getting some positives!! Praying!
Glad things are looking good. We’ll continue to pray for her recovery.
Thanks for the update. Praying!!!
Thanks so much for your reports. Many are praying for Marian, you, Doc and team, Linda Murr
Thanks for the update! I will continue to lift your mother up in prayer.
Please give your mom a hug for me when she awakens, and remind her that Don and I are praying. We surely appreciate the updates!
Happy to hear she won’t remember the ventilator part of this. Even happier to have some positive news. I am happier still that you are there with her; that is good medicine for her. My love to you both.
When she wakes up, please let her know half of charlotte…and I guess the world…is praying for her. A special lady.
