They took her off the ventilator at six this evening and so far she is tolerating it well. She is going to be foggy for a day or three but she does recognize her name. Her kidney lab results will continue to be high for another day or two and she still has a lot of fluid to work off but at this point she is progressing. She will stay in the recovery unit for at least one more day and then at least a week longer in the hospital telemetry unit.
Pray for:
– continued healing of the heart
– improvement in kidney function
– ability to stay off the ventilator
– increasing mental clarity
